IFR REFRESHER

The IFR refresher is intended to keep the student not only current, but proficient in the airplane while under IFR.  The pilot will review all of the items that an IFR pilot must know, and the things that are really good to know.  Emergency procedures, GPS procedures, ILS, ADF, Departure, Enroute, Arrival, and Terminal Procedures will be covered.  Single Pilot CRM will be stressed; adherence to procedures will be required.  This is meant to keep the student safe and is above and beyond the “6 approaches every 6 months” currency.  You should be proficient IFR after this module.  This course includes 4 hours of ground training and 4 hours of flight training in the Redbird FMX full motion simulator.
