GPS FOR VFR BASIC (G430/530)

Training pilots on the Garmin GNS 430/ 530.  Here you will learn the principals that GPS functions on, how to use the NAV/COM, general GPS menu layout, how to navigate by use of “Direct-To” and “Flight Plan” button, how to quickly utilize the “Nearest” Page, and other general tools.   You will learn the Garmin “Buttonology” and be able to navigate through the various pages of the GPS.  This course familiarizes the student with the operation of Garmin GPS. This package includes 2 hours of Ground Training with a Certified Instructor and 1 Hour of Flight in the Redbird FMX full motion simulator.
