GPS FOR VFR ADVANCED

“Beyond Direct-TO”- Intended for the VFR pilot looking to get more value out of his GNS 430/530.  The Pilot will learn the value of flight planning and how to utilize ALL of the features of the GNS 430/530.  The topics covered include; cross country planning, emergency procedures, flying courses, terminology, customizing fields, flight planning, fuel planning, and use of “OBS” mode, user waypoints, and NAV leg activation.  It's recommended to have completed GPS intro for VFR prior to taking this course.  This package includes 2 hours of ground training with a Certified Instructor and 1.5 hours in the Redbird FMX full motion simulator.
